She needs a job.

He needs a sub.

Surely they can come to some sort of agreement.

Jasmine is jobless and down to her last dollar, living in squalor with only a mean cat to keep her sane. On the day of an important job interview, she's spotted by Ethan Cole, the smart and handsome billionaire bachelor who tears through assistants as if they're cheap tissues.

He wants her. To be his assistant. To be his submissive. For six months all Jasmine has to do is be at his beck and call. In the office, in the boardroom...and in the bedroom.

In return she'll become a millionaire.

They say that every person has a price. Ethan is willing to pay hers. Now she will enter his world of money, bad jokes, broken hearts, dangerous business partners, and sweet white-collar power.

The moment she signs that billion-dollar contract, she belongs to Ethan Cole. Her body...and her heart.

Minus the really steamy sex scenes, there is also enough plot and characterization to carry the story. That’s always a nice thing.Jasmine is a girl who is down and out when it comes to getting a job. The handsome Ethan Cole offers her $3 million in exchange for being his mistress and personal assistant (mixing work and pleasure!) for six months. The series covers their meeting all the way to the end of those six months. Do they end up in love and together forever? And does Jasmine get her money? I suggest you read and find out because it's the really fun ride!

By Abster Reinventing the wheel isn’t easy, but for me, this novel (it’s actually a set of all five parts in a series) hits all the right spots! It’s got an interesting set up with the heroine being outright asked to be an escort of sorts in exchange for a hefty sum at the end of six months. It’s got a standoffish billionaire who actually just wants to love someone. It’s even got a bit of a villain who really goes off the wall in the final and somewhat suspenseful part. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down! This is definitely for billionaire romance fans looking for a new voice in the genre. This was an advanced copy for review.

Ethan is the epitome of the kind of guy I like to see in romances. He’s alpha but without being a jerk (or at least not as much in some books.) He’s actually quite respectful in the context of the situation. Sure, he does some pretty raunchy things with Jasmine, but he’s a true gentleman about it.If you’re looking for a somewhat softer alpha billionaire then this is the book for you. And if you like it spicy, you’ll still like it! Just because he’s a gentleman doesn’t mean he doesn’t know how to spank a girl…

The 1970 Tilghman baseball team was a conglomeration of students from all over Paducah, a town of about thirty thousand in West Kentucky. The Blue Tornado already had a proud history of success in football, basketball, track and baseball.

However, little was expected from this year's team. Fielding a starting roster and coaches with limited experience, the team began with a mediocre record, but became a tough opponent as the season progressed- ultimately surprising everyone by making it to the finals of the Kentucky State High School Tournament. The tournament was one of the most memorable in Kentucky sports history, including teams from Madisonville, Louisville Trinity, Lexington Lafayette, Somerset, Russell, Covington Catholic, Elizabethtown and Paducah Tilghman.

This is a story about growing up in a small Midwestern town - remembering life in Paducah and a tribute to the great players across the State as told through photographs, statistics, news accounts and memories of the 1960s.

By Bill Noel In The Somerset Ball, author Dr. Mikel Smith does a superb job chronicling the unlikely success of his high school baseball team as it wins its way through the 1970 Kentucky high school baseball tournament, but the book is much more than a provincial success story. I grew up two-hundred miles from the book’s setting and am a half-dozen years different in age than the author, but the picture he draws of growing up when baseball was truly the national pastime, and of simply growing up in the late-1060s and early 1970s, will resonate with millions of baby boomers as it did with me. Through The Somerset Ball, I was able to relive my process of establishing values and my outlook on friendships that have stayed with me throughout my life. Yes, baseball plays a central role in the book, but it is much more. I highly recommend The Somerset Ball.

Must read for small town living and baseball fans By Edward Morris MD Dr. Smith captures life growing up in middle America during 1960s and the dawn of the decade to follow. His personal account of his life in Paducah, KY and the formative effects of sports, in particular baseball, on his and his teammates lives is a testament to days gone by. His story conjured up memories, long lost, of my own Ohio childhood.. The detail that went into the narrative is remarkable. One can almost feel the energy in the stadium stands as Tilghman Blue Tornado weaved their way through the 1970 baseball season. This book makes me long for the days when winning and losing were part of the game and good things can come out of each outcome. While I am not really a baseball fan, this book has helped me brush up on my baseball lingo and will be able to identify a "liner" next time I see one on TV.

Interesting read about growing up in the 1960's in Paducah, KY. I found it especially interesting to read about older friends I looked up to and played baseball with in Paducah as a kid from elementary school through high school years and worked with on into later life. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of the past and stirring up a lot of good memories of Paducah neighborhoods and baseball in the 1960's to 1970. I could still hear the play by play on the radio of Tilghman's path to the Kentucky State Baseball finals in 1970.

The Ice Bowl, an epic contest between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys, was the coldest pro football game ever played. It pitted Vince Lombardi and the Packers’ 1960s dynasty against Tom Landry and the up-and-coming Cowboys. The challenge of playing against a strong opponent was compounded by the brutal, sub-zero temperatures. In a heart-pounding thriller, players and fans alike proved their mettle. In addition to the Ice Bowl, the 1967 season in pro football was notable for introducing breakthroughs in the game and playoff format. In this period, the National Football League and the American Football League continued their fierce competition. This rivalry would set the foundation for the modern NFL. This book highlights the character and leadership ability of Vince Lombardi, one of the greatest coaches in football history.

Highly recommend this book written by Eric Jones, he has been my instructor and his ability to communicate not only swing thoughts, but strategic golf concepts is excellent!! Of all instructors I have had over the years by far Eric is the best, primarily due to his communication skills creating mental imagery to help the learner better understand how to improve! The book play Strategic Golf provides course navigation ideas to help any level golfer manage their way around each hole and the entire course! The book provides loads of great suggestions and pictorial layouts to show you the "how to".For anyone looking to improve their game, this book is a must read, it is short, easy to understand and provides great concepts everyone can use on any golf course to improve their scoring!

By ALoneGolfer@201 Always heard TV announcers talking about "ideal landing areas" "short siding" and "staying patient"... never realized what all that meant until I read this book! Great explanations of hole design (from both the course architect AND player's point of views). Translated a hole's weaknesses and strengths and the best way to navigate them.I've not looked (or played) a golf course since then the same way. I now understand the way the hole was 'meant' to be played and what shots are needed. 2-3 stroke improvement alone with no other changes...Recommend for any and all golfers!

He once again has penned a timely, powerful instructional tool that is easy to read, exciting to follow and WILL produce lower scores. After my first read through of "Play Strategic Golf..." I applied key principles, that were clearly and concisely presented in the book, during my next round at my home course. Wow...the course played for me like a new course! I shot my all time lowest score, which was six shots better than my average score. Anyone who loves this game should have this book on hand.R Bright
